About Me
Hello! My name is Alicia MacManus.
I'm a Seekonk native, family law attorney and proud Mom to an Aitken kindergartner.
As a lawyer, I'm constantly analyzing complex situations, identifying key issues and coming up with effective strategies. And, while the job requires analytical thinking, there's also a very human side to what I do. I see the School Committee role as quite similar. The issues can feel abstract, but the impact on our community members is substantial.
I also love the challenge of working with people who have a different viewpoint than me. If people are open-minded, we can actually learn more from each other and get more accomplished for our students and our schools.
Seekonk is a truly great town and our schools are a defining feature. With your vote in the April 1 townwide election, we'll confront the looming challenges the district faces and empower our students and teachers.
